Visit Lightroom with Afternoon Tea at RAILS for Two

The Lightroom is London’s new home for spectacular artist-led shows.

Explore one of two exhibitions at Lightroom, The Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks open until the 13th October. Tom Hanks narrates an epic experience that offers a unique new perspective on humankind’s past and future voyages to the moon. Telling the stories of the Apollo missions in intimate detail, The Moonwalkers also provides an insight into the impending return of crewed surface missions by going behind-the-scenes of the Artemis programme, including interviews between Hanks and Artemis astronauts. Lightroom’s powerful projection and audio technology will transform the immense space into a vehicle for a spectacular immersive voyage to our closest celestial neighbour.

From 17th June until 6th October, guests can explore the wonderous world of David Hockney. Using largescale projection in a remarkable new space, David Hockney takes us on a personal journey through sixty years of his art. Lightroom’s vast walls and revolutionary sound system enable us to experience the world through Hockney’s eyes. His life long fascination with the possibilities of new media is given vibrant expression in a show that invites us to look more closely, more truly and more joyously.

Once your visit is done at the Lightroom head over to RAILS at the 5* Great Northern Hotel, where a delightful selection of sweet and savoury treats, scones with jam and clotted cream and a pot of your chosen brew is waiting for you. Spend your afternoon indulging into a national tradition that dates back to the 1840’s in the heart of Kings Cross & St. Pancras.

The Lightroom will last approximately 50 minutes and your afternoon tea will lasts about 1 1/2 hours
