A fabulous afternoon tea at the wonderful Twisted Currant. A great selection of sandwiches, with a G&T, beautiful homemade cakes, followed by a delicious Cornish cream tea... jam first, with lashings of tea. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

The staff were helpful and friendly. It was an interesting morning. Sadly on the Gift box it stated Steam train ride and afternoon tea, but this could not be used on the train, which was very misleading. We did enjoy the tea at the Dog and partridge Inn about twenty minutes away. This should be made clear in the literature included in the gift box.

Was given an afternoon tea voucher as a special Birthday present, and chose to go to Eastbourne. The whole experience was excellent. Shown to a table upstairs, which was quiet. The afternoon tea food and drink selection was very good. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. And the waiting Staff were friendly and attentive, giving the impression that they wanted you to enjoy the experience. I would definitely recommend..
