The chance to take to the track in this car is one which will appeal to anyone with an interest in motoring history or those who wish to recreate some of the most exciting moments in movie history.

The Mk1 Escort RS Blast is an experience designed to give participants a chance to take to the track behind the wheel of such an instantly recognisable car. Participants will be greeted with a tea or coffee, the perfect accompaniment to their safety briefing which will be followed by a tour of the track to familiarise themselves with the layout and prepare them for what lies ahead.

Then it’s time to get into the driver’s seat and experience the magic of the Mk1 Escort for three laps/miles of the track. An instructor will be on hand in the passenger seat to explain the racing lines, provide advice and offer encouragement to those who are keen to demonstrate their driving prowess.

Please note, there will be a supplement fee if you choose to visit the Dunsfold, Warden Law or Castle Combe.

This experience is available on selected dates subject to availability, throughout the year.

This experience will last approximately 1½ hours.

This experience is for one person, there will be other people there on the day.

Can I bring family and friends?

You are welcome to bring friends and family to watch you take to the track!

What else do I need to know?

The minimum age is 17 years old.

Drivers must be fit and healthy and not suffer from any conditions that may impact their ability to drive the car safely. Maximum weight is 20st (127kg). Minimum height is 135cm (4ft 5").

You will be required to hold a full UK or European manual driving licence which must have been held for at least one year with no serious offences, this will need to be presented on the day.

The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.
