Enjoy a truly royal day out with a visit to The King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace followed by a delicious afternoon tea at the Clermont Hotel Charing Cross.
The King’s Gallery was opened by Her Majesty The Queen in May 2002, as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations. It is located on the site of Buckingham Palace and is home to changing exhibitions from The Royal Collection.
The program of exhibitions for 2024/2025 are:
Drawing the Italian Renaissance - 1 November 2024 – 9 March 2025
This exhibition brings together the widest range of drawings from this revolutionary artistic period ever to be shown in the UK. Exploring the diversity and accomplishment of drawing across Italy between 1450 and 1600, the exhibition will feature around 160 works by over 80 artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael and Titian alongside lesser-known artists, all drawn from the Royal Collection, which holds one of the world’s greatest collections of Italian Renaissance drawings.
You will then take a short stroll to enjoy your afternoon tea at the Clermont Hotel which will include a selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones with clotted cream and jam, accompanied by a choice of herbal or leaf teas or speciality coffees.
This experience is available Monday to Sunday. Time slot for King's Gallery is 11:45am, afternoon tea is available from 2pm-5pm.
This experience will last approximately 3 hours.
This experience is for two people, there will be other people there on the day.
The minimum age is 18 years old.
You must present a printed voucher at The King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace.
