A junior driving experience day gives young petrolheads the chance to experience cars made famous by popular films like Transformers and The Fast & Furious. Kids over the age of ten can take the wheel themselves for an exhilarating three laps or miles in their favourite car. This junior car driving experience makes a fantastic gift for young film buffs and teens with a need for speed!
The young driver can choose between a number of legendary vehicles, such as the Bumblebee Camaro - the main character of the Transformers movies - or cars such as the Nissan Skyline and the Toyota Supra, driven by Brian in the Fast & Furious movies.
This kids’ driving experience includes the presence of a qualified and experienced instructor to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
The driver of the car has to sign a waiver accepting liability in case there’s any damage to the vehicle. There will also be an opportunity to purchase an optional damage waiver cover when booking. This will minimise any financial exposure in the event of an accident. You may be given the option to upgrade cars or to buy media packages on the day of your event.
Please keep in mind that there may be a supplement charge for weekend bookings and a supplement fee if you choose to visit a premium venue.
This experience is available on selected dates, subject to availability, throughout the year.
You will spend approximately 2½ hours at your chosen venue.
This experience is for one person, there will be other people there on the day.
You are welcome to bring friends and family to watch you.
The minimum age to drive the cars is 10 years old, maximum age 16.
This experience is available to all children who meet the minimum height requirement of 135cm (4ft 4") to 147cm (4ft 10") dependent on location.
The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.

It took me a while to book this event, as I wanted a weekend and also a close venue so had to wait until it had nearly expired. I wasn’t sure if my son would actually get to drive or if my husband would go with him, so this could be made clearer when booking. When we arrived it was chaos! So many people were there for the 14:30 event and so many cars. The queue was pretty long and after the initial queue to pay an optional waiver of £29 there was another queue. My son didn’t mind as he was super excited as he realised he would actually drive the car. The driver instructor let me take photos of him sat in the car before I left them. By the time I’d walked to the track, I saw him do 2 laps which was supposed to be 4!!!! Everyone else had 4! A bit disappointed as we’d waited for this for so long!!!!! Not sure why he cut it so short. What a shame as my son LOVED it

Tom had a fantastic time and was well looked after. Whilst we were given the options regarding photos and video package we were a little disappointed with only receiving a digital photo for £10. This would have been better if it could have been printed as a souvenir on the day.

Until we arrived, I hadn’t realised what a huge event a Car Chase Heroes track day was. We booked this for our 11 year old son, there were plenty of young drivers there on the day. Extremely well organised from start to finish, with warm, helpful and efficient staff. The car we had booked wasn’t available which could’ve been disappointing, however, the changeover process was smooth and a complimentary lap was provided, even though the booking small print states that this could have been done with no compensation. We had around 80 minutes to wait because of one of the McClarens not running, but the time passed quickly by the time my sons pre-race sighting lap had taken place and he’d had a go on the F1 simulator and polished off an ice cream! We will definitely book again, worth being aware of the insurance waiver cost though when booking as this bumps up the price of the experience, but when you get there and see the value of the cars, it is understandable. Thank you Car chase Heroes for making a fantastic memory for my son!

I tried to attend this for my son. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend as my car broke down. I completely understand there policies but when I called to explain the lady on the phone was rude. Given it was circumstances beyond my control I would have have have thought they would have helped to resolve the situation instead I was asked to to pay money in a very abrupt manner. No talking at all about it. So my son didn't get to go and also I'm down money. I could also prove the car was in the garage but again nothing taken into consideration

I can only apologise, but Car Chase Heroes policy does state the following: 'If you need to change a booking, it must be done more than 7 days before the event takes place and a £5 admin fee will be charged. Any changes made within 7 days of the event would be subject to a £29 rebooking fee per car if cancelation cover was not purchased at the time of booking.'
