Driving the cars was really enjoyable, the people guiding me as I went round were great all with good attitudes. The only fault I have is my name wasn’t added to the list of people driving so I ended up driving later than planned as I got missed . Other than that little hiccup the day was great

The day was great however starting the day is a bit confusing as you have to go to the hut where you pay to park and then go the briefing room - this is not clearly signed
In addition i had a high speed drive with my booking however i was waiting around for it and never got called -this wasnt communicated either so bit disappointed with that

If you are prepared to listen to the instructors, and can show you are trustworthy in command of some truly awesome cars available at the Three Sisters Wigan site, then they will help you really take your driving to the max. I can’t do justice to the fun and the thrill of overtaking the 60s Batmobile on the outside down narrow twisty bends in my Bond DB5. Throughout the day, live special offers and upgrades were announced, so my speed laps turned into Ariel Atom hard laps (so fast!) and I even added to my list of Astons with a F1 safety car Aston AMR Vantage; probably the fastest car on the circuit that day.
It’s not all about speed though. Surrounded by Fast&Furious specials, Eleanor the Mustang GT500, and classics like the Mini Cooper, I got my biggest thrills from the 1975 Aston Vantage. Four wheels with a leather seat, steering wheel and a monster engine made me feel barely in control of a wild animal!
The routine is simple once you get registered. You sign your life away on the obligatory safety form, then stand out with the crowd holding your registration card with the list of cars you have chosen to drive. When your name is called, you sit on a chair carrying the name of the relevant car, and the instructor collects you and takes you across to the driver seat. Clear instructions throughout mean you get the most from the cars, and external photos and internal videos are reasonably priced at the end.
Tips to make the day go smoother; pay the damage waiver when you book online, as you will feel the need to anyway when you think of the risk of pranging a Ferrari in the pit lane. Also, get the premium media package at the end, at £30 it is only £10 more and gives you all the photos and videos from your drives.
