If you have ever enjoyed a pint of beer and wondered how it's made, then this experience will answer all your questions. The basic principles of brewing beer have remained unchanged for centuries and during this tour you will see all parts of the process including: fermenting, where the sugar is broken down into alcohol; conditioning, which gives beer a smoother taste; and filtering which stabilises the flavour and gives beer its polished shine and brilliance. To complete this experience you will also get to taste some of the brewery's beers.
Upon arrival you will first meet your expert brewery guide. Then you will be taken around the brewery where you will get to see what goes on behind the scenes. A brief history of the brewery itself and the beers produced may also be included subject to availability. At the end of the tour you will taste a selection of the beers produced and then visit the brewery shop, there you will get the chance to purchase your very own locally produced beer.

Take a walk and boat trip through London's darkest secret history, through royal parks, past haunted houses and into the unknown. Soak in the beauty of London at night by foot and from the exquisite view from your boat cruise on the Thames. Many of London's ghost's walk in the shadows & some lurk in the Thames.
You will meet your tour guide in front of the Goddess Diana Statue at the entrance to Green Park in Mayfair where you will begin to explore the deepest and darkest corners of the world's most haunted city during this 2 hour experience.
On this tour you'll see the most haunted of Royal Parks - Green Park - home of one the largest plague pits. Discover the gruesome story behind London's goriest murder at St James' Palace. You'll be able to experience London's most haunted house in Mayfair, with folks dying of fright, to soldiers impaled on the spikes outside.
You'll then move onto Westminster, where you'll learn dozens of stories about ghouls that lurk in the Abbey and the Palace of Westminster. All of which was under water not so long ago. Speaking of water, you'll then take the Thames Cruise down the river to the Tower of London, where the ghostly theme will continue. What did you get up to?
We visited Chilford Hall on a lovely day and had a great time wandering around the vineyard and being told interesting information about the wine making process from our guide. The actual vineyard was around a 15 minute walk away and it was great to get some fresh air. We got to sample a great variety of wine and it made me realise that you don't need to source wine from France, Spain or overseas as we have plenty of delicious, locally produced wine here in England! We also decided to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea on-site after the tour! A lovely summer day out overall.

Although the wine tasting was a highlight, we actually really enjoyed strolling around the vineyard in the sun, learning about the wine making process.

Les was so knowledgeable and spent a long time with the group explaining everything from growing shapes to blending grapes. He was brilliant. We also had a walk around the wine distillery which was really interesting. Shawsgate is a lovely venue and we will definitely go back in the summer to see the vines at a different time of year.

A beautiful sunny day sipping amazing wines. A very informative host whose love for fine wines shone through. The additional cheese platter was such a nice touch and very tasty. We were given three wines to taste one rosé and two whites. It would have been nice to try a red but on a warm day the selection was most welcome.

Was initially disappointed to find out that the actual vineyard was so small. Very limited production facilities. They buy in grapes etc from other vineyards. Our Sommelier was very knowledgable and great host with a sense of humour. All round a fun tasting and visit.

Most informative about the process of growing vines and making wine. Tour lasted about an hour and was really interesting. The wine tasting afterwards was also informative. We were a little dubious about English wines but the four we tasted were all exceptional. We came away with a couple of bottles and had really enjoyed the afternoon visit.
