Very pleasant place. Owner gave guide and was interesting when we could hear him. Too long outside, very few places to sit while he spoke. Lunch was pleasant but felt the chicken and ham pie could have been fresher. Bought 3 bottles of wine - £56 realised at home the red was supposed to be served chilled. Felt when tried like this it took the taste away. Disappointed.

The visit to Oaken Grove was the best visit to a vineyard we have had. The tour guide was well informed and humorous. After speaking to the group outside, explaining different things about growing vines, we were taken into a large room where we had the wine tasting of 5 different wines. There was no pushy sales talk just good information. There appears to be a slight mix up as far as the word Deluxe is concerned. On some tours at different vineyards it means some food is served but not at this venue. Best to check before booking. Saying that, we paid extra for a lovely sharing platter where there was more than enough for two people. Thoroughly recommend Oaken Grove.
