What did you get up to?
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were treated like someone special, the owners Chris and Peter were so friendly and helpful, they really couldn’t do enough for us!
The B&B was beautiful and set in a very rural area, but was well sign posted and easy to find. On arrival, we were given a warm welcome by Chris who checked us in. She showed us around the B&B, the gardens and made sure we knew where everything was and what time breakfast would be served in the morning.
We were recommended an array of places to eat dinner nearby, as well as local takeaway restaurants if we preferred a night in with a glass of wine. The B&B had a beautiful garden area with plenty of places to sit and soak up the atmosphere and the bedroom we stayed in was cosy and comfortable. Our bedroom was on the ground floor and the front door was kept unlocked so we could go in and out as we pleased and the bed itself was really comfortable, so we both had a great night’s sleep!
Breakfast was served the following morning between 8am-9:30am. We both went for the full English breakfast.
What did you enjoy the most?
We loved the breakfast as it was cooked fresh using produce sourced locally and set us up for our day of exploring all the New Forest has to offer. The food was delicious and the portion was huge!

I had a lovely stay here , beautiful location by the river , older style hotel very clean & super cosy , comfy bed , loved the blue tooth mirror in bathroom for having music on in shower ! Jason made a great breakfast.. loved it . Thankyou

Got to the kig William it had taken the lad a good few rings on the bell to answer but it looked clean got to the room the bed was very low down only a few lights worked and only 2 plug points on the shelf the bathroom was very small had a meal there which was very nice and good beer we paid for breakfast but when we went down there was no one about at 745 so we left to be honest it wasn't the worst place I have stopped in but I wouldn't recommend it ether

Arrived at hotel to find reception unmanned but told to go to restaurant. Easy check in and room was fine. No choice of room upgrade as only one type of twin room. Booked dinner and all staff were friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and piping hot! Beds and showers were very good. Last down to breakfast but still no problem to order fish or poached eggs. Again food was excellent. Very peaceful hotel on golf course. Easy checkout and would definitely return and recommend.

We have an amazing stay at The Wortwell Hall Barn. The venue had everything you would need for a night or two away from home. The room was exceptional clean and comfortable. The hospitality was very welcoming and our host was very helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
