Barista Basics Session at Winchester Coffee School

The home barista coffee course will help you serve cafe-quality coffee for yourself and your friends in your own home.

The espresso machine is now a fashionable and quality feature in many home kitchens. This home barista coffee course is ideal for those with a home espresso machine looking for some professional training to help get the best from their equipment. There is a range of home machines for you to practice on and you are also encouraged to bring in your own machine, if you have one, so you can get the best possible tips.

The two hour, interactive course starts with a brief background on where coffee comes from and the differences in roasting and quality to developing a good palette for taste. You will be learning on their professional espresso machines and as you become comfortable with extracting espresso you will move onto their home espresso machines for lots of practice and if you wish learn milk texturing and maintaining your machine for longevity.

When can I go?

This experience is available on Fridays and Saturdays, throughout the year. Excludes Christmas, New Year, and Bank Holidays.

How long will my experience last?

This experience will last approximately 2 hours.

What else do I need to know?

The minimum age is 18 years old.
