Archery is a fun sport that has been around for centuries. An art dating back 10,000 years when the bow defended land and provided food for the table. Enjoy the competitive spirit and find out who has the nerve to shoot the highest score. This experience demands calm concentration and a keen eye to hit the bulls eye. Can you be the modern day equivalent of Robin Hood?
The experience will begin with a safety briefing and the rules of when to release and when to collect arrows. Then it will be time to start aiming for the gold in the target.
This experience is available on selected dates, throughout the year.
This experience will last between 1 to 1½ hours.
This experience is for two people, there will be other people there on the day.
You're welcome to bring spectators to watch.
The minimum age is 8 years, except Durham which is 10. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.

Our archery experience was a lot of fun. Instructions prior to the event were very clear and helpful however we were a bit confused upon entry as there wasn’t a lot of sign posting for the venue/area. Host for our archery was really friendly, helpful with a good amount of banter which made it a good laugh for us and the group. She was good at teaching the technique and let us practice and play at our own paces. Event went on for around an hour so lots of practice before a few competitive games at the end. All in all great little activity and would recommend anyone who’s interested to go ahead and book.

Apart from a very wet and muddy field (which couldn't be helped), we had lots of fun! The staff were very attentive and engaging, the activities were varied, and we were given tips throughout to improve our skills. Really good fun, great for a unique afternoon.
