You will enjoy your afternoon tea in the stylish Restaurant 92, with boats soft furnishings and a calm and tranquil atmosphere, the perfect location for a relaxing afternoon tea.
On arrival you will be greeted by friendly staff who will seat you in the contemporary Restaurant 92. Your afternoon tea will include a selection of freshly made finger sandwiches such as smoked salmon with cream cheese, roasted sweet pepper with houmous, cucumber and soft cheese and honey glazed ham and mustard. You will also enjoy delicious lightly warmed sultana and plain scones served with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve and sweet treats and cakes. All to be washed down with a choice of traditional tea and herbal tea infusions.
Once you’ve devoured your afternoon tea you will be perfectly placed to explore London.

What did you get up to?
Upon arrival at the DoubleTree by Hilton in London West End my friend and I were immediately in awe of the venue and décor. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and very welcoming. We were seated by staff straight away and asked what type of tea we would like. We paid a small upgrade to the Afternoon with Bubbly so we could enjoy a glass of champagne each to make the most of our experience. We were asked whether we would like our champagne served before or after we had eaten – I think it was great that you’re given a choice so your champagne remains chilled for when you're ready to enjoy it. After a short wait our afternoon tea was served! We enjoyed a large plate of sandwiches with different fillings such as cucumber & soft cheese or honey glazed gammon & grain mustard, they were all delicious! The homemade sultana scones were served slightly warm with clotted cream and strawberry jam. We then enjoyed various delicious cakes such as mini Victoria sponges, raspberry mousse, chocolate mousse and pecan sponge cake. We had the most amazing day in a lovely venue and I would certainly recommend the afternoon tea to anyone!

When it comes to redeeming the voucher, your lucky gift recipient just needs to visit out website and activate their gift. Once completed, they'll be presented with a range of locations they are able to book as well as their booking procedure. They then simply create the booking and hand the voucher in to the hotel when they arrive for check-in!

We were shown to our table which was a window seat. Perfect for people watching and far enough away from the other tables to have a lovely catch up with an old friend. Tea was presented in a half bird cage with the sandwiches on a plate. I personally would prefer more savoury to sweet and we did struggle to eat all the cakes. Staff were attentive and looked after us really well. Thank you.

I cannot tell you how happy I was with the day out at the Doubletree Hilton West End hotel. I took my mother for an afternoon tea as a surprise day out and it made her month. The food was excellent and unlimited tea and coffee was always a bonus ;) We were made very welcome by the employees and couldn’t recommend this venue and experience any more

Staff very attentive. Dining area very nice with a large window for view of street. Cream tea was delicious but we did have a bit of sugar overload! The cakes were beautiful but we could have done with a little more savoury to balance it out. Overall a lovely experience

Tea at the Hilton… wow! Sorry, in a front porch area of a soulless entrance area of a London hotel is not ok. Scones 10/10 Downhill from there with poorer quality items making up the afternoon tea. Sandwiches clearly mass produced with damp bread - straight from a block in the fridge? Strawberry jam that was at least red but that was the only simlilarity to Strawberries. Cakes - 3/10 The tea… don’t get me started. Afternoon tea demands quality tea… unfortunately like every other detail of this trip it was far from what was advertised. As for the ability to choose your selected time… glad they were able to squeeze us in, into our third choice requested time… they were obviously overwhelmed on our other requests by a cruise ship stopping close by because on the Saturday afternoon we attended we had the luxury of being the only two people in the Doubletrees side room off a hotel lobby! Clever selling a title by Activity Superstore but possibly some quality assurance of what you are selling is recommended And the next question is do we recommend it?! I think you know where this is going!

When we arrived there was no one to greet us or direct us to where we needed to go. When we asked at reception they directed us to the bar, where we asked a bartender to help us - even though she was very polite she did not know where the afternoon tea would be. We then ended up searching around going to the hotel restaurant where someone else again who was polite, didn't know what we was talking about. However this time she did then get someone to show us the way. This is total took half hour and I was 37 weeks pregnant. On our booking we specified a vegetarian afternoon tea - we were given ham and salmon sandwiches. Apart from the scones (which were lovely!) the other cakes were stale and store bought. We was not offered anymore tea or refreshments and had to go to the bar to be served. This was not what I would expect for an afternoon tea.
