Overview

The Empress Hotel is situated in the heart of Douglas and commands a prime location on the Victorian Promenade.

Overlooking Douglas Bay and just a short walk from the town centre, the Empress is a perfect place to stay whether visiting the Isle of Man for Business or Leisure.

The Hotel has been extensively upgraded and proudly maintains its status as one of the best hotels on the Island.

Take afternoon tea in either the Piano Bar lounge area, the conservatory or even the outside with wonderful views on the sea which is glorious when the sun is shining.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by the friendly team who will take you to your table. Your afternoon tea will include a selection of freshly made sandwiches, with a filling of your choice from roast ham and English mustard, prawn Marie rose, egg mayonnaise, Coronation chicken, Tuna mayonnaise or cheddar cheese and homemade chutney.

You will also be treated to delicious homemade scones with cream and jam and a selection of cakes and sweet treats of the day to accompany your tea or coffee.

Finish off with our warm chocolate fondue with a fresh fruit and marshmallow dip.
