Afternoon tea is a delightful way to spend some time catching up over a slice of cake and talking over a cup of tea. With this gift experience, you can do just that, as you and someone special are invited to savour this British tradition at the 5* art deco Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel, one of Mayfair’s most prestigious afternoon tea spots.
The afternoon tea will be served in the Palm Court restaurant, nestled in the heart of this hotel, with décor echoing the 1920s culture and charm, so you’ll be taken back to this classic era whilst you indulge in a scrumptious spread of savoury and sweet delights.
Once you’re seated in the Palm Court restaurant, you’ll be served your afternoon tea, which will comprise of a selection of dainty finger sandwiches and mini wraps, sumptuous freshly baked scones with clotted cream and a choice of seasonal preserves, as well as a choice of delightful French pastries and splendid teas that hail from all across the world.
Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel is based in central Mayfair, with a very close walking distance to Buckingham Palace, ideally located if you enjoy some London sight-seeing before or after your afternoon tea experience. Or if you’d prefer to take a relaxing stroll, this hotel faces Green Park, perfect for building up an appetite before your afternoon tea or unwinding after you’ve indulged.
This experience is available Monday to Sunday, subject to availability, throughout the year.
Your experience will generally last for 1½ hours.

Our experience at the Palm Court for the ‘Afternoon Tea’ was divine, a calm atmosphere coupled by friendly service by all staff particularly ‘Kim & Efrey’. We arrived to the location earlier and kindly escorted to our table where we could explore the menu & unwind. The cutlery was immaculate served in Silver Wear, ‘Kim’ explained each tier as vegetarians my Mum & I had a variety of fresh sandwiches. The scones were warmly kept in a cotton bag and throughout our Tea we were acknowledged. Thank You to ‘Kim & Efrey’ for a 5 star day & your professional hospitality!

Apart from a dreadful journey up to London by coach ( which was nobodys particular fault - just dreadful traffic conditions ) the actual experience at the hotel was really lovely and worthwhile. Food was excellent, service first class, and environment very nice

Staff were wonderfully welcoming and helpful. Don’t go if you are looking for large portions. The food is definitely quality over quantity although there was certainly enough to satisfy and we could have opted for more. Food was all beautifully presented and very fresh. Fabulous small , very fresh scones. They had a superb selection of teas which they served in a large teapot which was refilled. Overall a superb tea in lovely, comfortable surroundings, well worth it.
